An interesting surprise. Very entertaining. A funny tale in a pretty serious part of Ireland. The acting is great, the story is good and the music is pretty cool. It's probably not for everyone, however if you enjoyed The Full Monty or Trainspotting or 8 Mile, you will probably enjoy this.
Update: Add in The Commitments.
It certainly was an unexpected surprise ( I'm not really seeing the Full Monty element though )
I enjoyed it , and found out afterwards that not only is it a true story - those arnt actors , they are the real rappers playing themselves.
How "true to the real events" it is anyone's guess
Yea I just saw Full Monty because of the group of rag tag fellas that get together and create something kinda cool and fun. I suppose a better comparison would have been The Commitments.
