The best there ever was .... the best there ever will be :) . This was the Star Trek we all were waiting for. And he thinks about doing a movie between ST I and ST II! But first the dumbheads at CBS/Paramount have to start thinking.

I've not gotten around to watching it for fear of it being a cheap knock-ff.
Just my opinion but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised, as the OP says the production values are great.
Everything is in keeping with the original series, uniforms, sets etc Good stories and acting.
James Doohan's son is in it and Colin Baker was in one also.
Having said that, there really is some cack on YouTube in the name of ST😷
I'll make a point of finding some of it then Dazed, anything has to be better than Discovery was and so maybe I can have hope for the future of Trek with someone which has good stories - Colin Baker though, crikey, that's a gamble!
