lol A couple more wrinkles (they sure aged well), and it's all over.

Apparently they did not know that they would not be renewed. Hence the rushed ending.

Story lines not tied up: Bash, Catherine & all of her kids, Clarissa, Nostradamus, Bothwell, Castelory, Narcisse, Mary bro, pirate baby daddy, kenna, greer.

Not only that in the 'last ep' they actually set up more plot lines: Charles and his brother making plans to attack Spain, Catherine/Naricce/witch 3 way, etc....it was clear they had no idea at this point in the shooting they were cancelled they were planning future eps.....

It's pretty obvious how quickly they had to wrap up what they could. Claude suddenly says Leith got marred? wtf and her hubby ran away at the same time how convenient. No time to explain why Elizabeth's servant killed Gideon. So they made up 'she hates rich people' event though it was gideon that saved her life. Also she could have done this on her own, why wait for Narcisse to pay her? If she hates the rich? What? So we had a quick scene with Elizabeth just bashing her head in to wrap that up. SO rushed.

At least the ending was not so depressing. But yeah Mary had not aged a bit LOL, did the make up dept. not even have time to age her??? LOL

Surely, not more ridiculous than "My Mother the Car" or "The Flying Nun".

This show made a lot of history buffs and Mary Queen of Scots fans squirm. My brother watched it (and he's not a history expert) but he was laughing at how bad the writing was. The owners of "Frock Flicks" have used it many times for their "Snark Week" articles, when they write about how horrible and inaccurate the costumes are. It was even crazier on their podcast about the show, and they cheered when the pilot episode ended; not because they had a good time, but because the torture was done, and they were drunk.
