Limon killing Maritza ?

I'm not sure what the point was in robbing Maritza. Was he so desperate due to the fact that his initial quest for cash was unsuccessful upon finding the money in the buried box had decayed. When he shot her I was devastated !

 I'd never post a spoiler in the subject line, and I'd never come to a message board before finishing. You're both lame in my book.

I'm not sure what the point was in robbing Maritza.

He didn't want to come back empty handed to his master, Pablo. Limón killing Mariza was ultimately a fatal mistake he committed and left the young girl without a parent.

I think it was a way for the show to make us viewers hate Limon.

Plus, that guy was about to leave and she had to act bitchy and touch. I'm a guy and if someone was holding a gun at me, I wouldn't be making sudden movements that could trigger that gun.

reply

I dont think it was about hating Limon,
I think he did it because she talked about ratting him out. the same reason they sent that other lady to the USA. being a rat to them is the worst thing. the moment she said she was going to rat him out is the moment he lost his cool

reply

Of all the Sicarios, he was probably the most liked so we needed a reason to dislike him before his demise so the sense of 'He deserved it' kicks in.

reply

To think he killed her for $6,000 while Pablo was worth $30,000,000,000 in other words for 0.0000002% of his total worth !

reply

no,
he was already leaving, the moment she talked about ratting him out he lost it.

thats why. in their world you dont rat people out

reply

He shot her because she threatened to talk. It was a really sad moment to see him go that far and that dark.

He shot her by accident I don't believe he was going to shoot her just to scare her and maybe give him more money but her death was unexpected for me also

reply

I agree with a previous poster that the shot went off in the heat of the moment. I guess her having grown up knowing Limon for so long, never expected him to turn on her. Especially as he'd helped her escape La-Quica in an earlier eps & also following being 'sent on her way' with them both + Escobar in the church episode (...which I didn't get anyway, since everyone else with any Pablo dealings good or bad was 'silenced')

reply

No, no ,no...watch the scene again, she clearly SLAPS Limon's gun as he's pointing it at her, that's why she got shot!..it was her fault...got it?
