Turtleneck

Why is she wearing a turtleneck in every scene?

For example, look at this photo of her when she was a big bigger.

She's got a double chin and her neck is wrinkled. She dropped a good amount of weight. The double chin doesn't just disappear. If the fat goes away, the skin there doesn't just spring back and tighten. Not when you're middle aged. I think in photos now her neck and under her chin look great. That doesn't happen without help.

I'm not judging her. She was beautiful before, and she still is. If I had the $$, I'd fix imperfections on my body too.

I also wondered if she had had something done to her neck, and the healing wasn't yet complete.

Her character wears only turtle necks.

Don't know why, but then don't know why this film was made...its terrible.

"dont you hear that horrible screaming all around you? That screaming men call silence."

LoL I came here to see if anyone else found that odd! :D It was actually distracting in the trailer, so how about watching a whole movie with that hilarious getup! :D

The turtleneck thing is a very common look in Texas, especially with heavy woman. She actually nailed that look perfectly: the hair, the makeup, the earrings (always very large), the nails, the turtleneck with a long and large necklace. It's a very defined type I've seen on lots of ladies. I think for them the turtleneck is to hide multiple chins; I think in the movie it was McCarthy imitating a very specific look.
