Faith West as "Mako" the maid and Kylee Michael as "Julie" the ex both provide very nice visuals, and give you a few eyefulls. Recognizing these aren't top flight actors and actresses, I thought they did well enough. Especially Faith West. She elicits some sympathy when she's having the memories/dreams of a prior user that abused her. These sci-fi stories about androids/maids/replicants all seem to take the same warning/reproachful tack. And I get the idea of that in serious sci-fi like Blade Runner, Deux Ex Machina, etc. But this is a direct to video Skinemax style movie. It's raison d'être is to have beautiful fantasy women. So why can't one just let a guy enjoy the sexy machine and not end up murdered by it? It would have been a refreshing change to see the guy reject his gold-digger ex who comes back and seems completely disingenuous, and just be happy with Mako.
