Has anyone from this franchise actually played the game?

I don't get why they bother to even call these movies 'Hitman', just make another sh!t generic action movie and name it 'The Assassin' or something. The whole point of the games was to AVOID the sh!t that goes on in these movies, why secure the rights to a series of games then make movies that do not reflect them in anyway? These movies should be tense, stealthy, minimal OTT action but they're the exact opposite...I won't even get started on the awful casting.

It happened with Resident Evil, too. Taut, intense survival horror? Nah, here's some OTT action CGI *beep* with karate and such other bullsh!t. I hope Assassin's Creed doesn't follow the same path, at least Fassbender is on board so there's hope, yet.

when stealth, camouflage and deception fail and you run around like an idiot shooting randomly, setting off alarms everywhere, then you act like the guy from this movie hahah

I've played the game. Both films based are complete disasters. Hitman kills people without witnesses, without setting off alarms. In both films there are witnesses, lot of alarms are set off and too many people are killed. If one forgets the game and the purpose behind it, the film has great action. It would be a true achievement of a film maker to make exactly like the game. The different disguises Hitman wears, the only alarm which goes off is when the target is killed that is all.
