Anyone check this out?

The pilot episode aired last night on ABC and CTV. I watched it today. It's about a single mom who works as a cleaning lady but due to her brilliant and obsessive mind ends up helping the police solve a murder. This is reminiscent of shows like Castle or The Mentalist. I enjoyed it and will check out next week's episode. I would rate the pilot of High Potential an 8/10.

Nah. Looks like something from the mid 2000s.

Teenage me woulda probably loved this but these kinda shows just don't appeal to me anymore.

It was ok…time will tell. Quite a different role compared to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the actress!
I liked Elsbeth on CBS better though, kind of similar. That was new last year and a second season starts soon. That has a little more humor which I like. And you know who did it the whole time so it’s a different dynamic, just wondering how she’ll finally trap the person.

Lol…0/10….It’ll only get 1 season…Lol

It was ok. A run of the mill network procedural. The formula is nothing new. it's the actors involved that make shows like this stand out for me. Kaitlin Olsen is the best part of the show.

reply

7/10. Better than I anticipated. Certainly a familiar setpup. But Kaitlin Olsen makes it work.

Just more media propaganda making heroes and role models of women raising children without fathers, thus denigrating the family unit, laying waste to our social fabric, and ruining our society. Continuing the job that Murphy Brown started 30 years ago. And no I didn't watch it.

reply

So you are judging it without watching it and making incorrect assumptions.

reply

So the single mom isn't a hero? Even though she's brilliant and solves murders?

reply

Dan Quayle, is that you?

reply

Yes. I don't have much to do nowadays so I kill time on online forums.

reply

No! And who wants to watch this when a new Matchlock also premiered?
