Quitting hiring abled actors to play disabled people Hollywood! It's disgusting how little you depict reality when it comes to disabled people. I know you guys just like making these movie into tear-jerkers that allows able people to feel bad and look down upon disabled people with their snobby pitty. It's disgusting and doesn't reflect reality at all!

Um... don't watch it, OP? I liked the movie. I'm glad they made it. So GTFO and go back to your sad little basement.
shareIf they'd hired a regular looking actually wheelchair bound man for the lead (with the atrophied body of a paraplegic or quadriplegic) the female audience would have been zero. Women only found the movie tolerable or in any way relatable because the guy was a) handsome and b) super wealthy. No woman is falling in love with a quadriplegic with no money and average looks.
