Is the gay promotion/agenda really needed?

What exactly do you mean by "promote"? Do you take the view that everything shown in a movie is being "promoted"?

If a very large fraction of the characters were being portrayed as gay then I might agree that it reflects an agenda of some sort. But one? Nah.

Their promotion of homosexuality cost them yet another Blu-ray sale. Yup, I actually liked the movie, in general... EXCEPT for the fag scene. On that point, alone, I will not buy the Blu-ray, which I'd have otherwise purchased. I guarantee they lost millions in revenue at the Box Office & of course from media sales. HA HA HA!!!

What 'agenda' do you speak of? Gay people do exist, having them in movies and TV shows doesn't show an agenda, it just shows that the makers of the show/movie are willing to be inclusive instead of only featuring white straight characters. It's called progress.
