Or smashing up his dad's laboratory. And whinging for his mommy who he lets in to attack the apartment... Then his blood sucking mother turns his HUMAN stepmother. He calls out feebly, but he should know by now that doesn't stop vampires. Why does he run off alone and try and reach his mother but he just stays passively by her side once she kidnaps him? why walk off with a monster and let your stepmother die if you aren't evil? He isn't stupid he knows that the vampire parasite is fatal. It is possible to live in denial, but it is also possible to be selfish and evil.
We see in the walking dead that Carl kills his mom rather than let her turn, and Nora cuts her mothers head off. Zack is either a pussy or evil to let his mother exist. I love my parents and my kids but if they were blood suckers or zombies I would shoot them in the face and I would expect the same in return. I wouldnt want to be a vamp or a zombie. To me it is the same as a DNR order in your will. If I had a choice I wouldn't want a machine to keep me alive. To keep someone you care about alive like that is nothing but selfishness. It would hurt emotionally but *beep* happens and you deal with it.
