Am I the only one who doesn't care Cami died

Like I literally didn't shed a tear... Infact I was more preocuppied with my popcorn than that scene to be honest. Leah did an amazing job with the character and the scene... Nothing against her, I just found klamille boring as hell.

Now davinas death though.... Made me inner cry a little. Her shed of tear during her death being killed by her boyfriend she's been trying to bring back for seasons now... Wow. Also, she kicked ass this episode. I didn't like the character before but I live her now

Not only do I not care that Cami died, but I'm thrilled she's gone. She was weighing down the show with a bland storyline, no chemistry w/Klaus and nowhere to go from here to further the plot. Now I'm actually looking forward to what they do with the show next year - new characters, time jump, etc.

I never liked Camille as a character. I feel like she was the Originals version of a Matt and no one needs a Matt. In the first season, I could tolerate her because I found the thing with her uncle and brother to be somewhat interesting. However, in the second season, she no longer had her own storyline and I feel like the writers were just trying to find somewhere to shoehorn her in because she didn't really have a place outside of being Klaus's love interest which only made me dislike the character more. This last season I was beyond excited that she finally died and I hated the fact that they had her turn into a vampire. We literally spent an entire episode following her around and heard her talking about her uncle and how being a vampire wasn't something that she wanted and having a choice and blah blah blah. Only for her to a five-second conversation with Vincent and find that as a vampire maybe she could "do some good." I feel like the perfect ending to her character would have been allowing her to stick to her morals and choose not become a vampire as her uncle hadn't wanted to be one.

Instead, she turns and becomes an utter nuisance. While I didn't care for the character of Camille as a human I hated her as a vampire. She was unbelievably smug and the way that she was coming at everyone sideways who in truth could rip out her heart without so much as a second thought had me wanting to bash her head in every time she appeared on my screen. The way she came at Hayley about Jackon, her snapping Klaus's neck, her stealing Hope's toy as a bargaining chip to get back the dark objects that I personally feel Klaus had more of a right to than she did seeing as it was his brother Kol along with Davina's ancestor and some other witch who were responsible for making the damn objects, the fact that after getting her ass handed to her and losing the very weapon that she stole and could be used to kill Klaus (which was the man she supposed loved) along with the rest of his siblings killed and didn't even have the decency to apologize after the fact and the list goes on had me celebrating like it was New Years when Camille FINALLY died.

She was a crappy human and a terrible vampire and the whole Klamille relationship was a bore to watch. They spent an two entire episodes focusing on Camille's death when Finn who was an actual Original and a member of the Mikaelson family got all of five minutes and we didn't even have a chance to see his siblings grief for his death, but of course when Camille dies they can't stop mentioning her and how much Klaus apparent cared about his therapist. Which is another thing that always got under my skin about this character because I never got what made her qualified to be a therapist to these 1000+-year-old vampires with baggage that far outweighed her credentials. Like, I don't think Camille officially graduated from whatever classes she was taking until season three and over the course of her short-lived career she had one client who it's debatable of how much she really helped and who is truly responsible for what little progress Klaus did make. And on top of that she broke like the one of the most sacred rules of her profession by getting romantically/emotionally involved with her client.

To me, the character of Camille was a hot mess and she lived and got more screen time than she was ever suppose to. Am elated that she's dead and if I had to choose between either bringing back Camille or Davina I would take Davina in a heartbeat. While I can't say I particular liked Davina either as I feel like she lasted way longer than she was suppose to giving the things she done to the Mikaelson family I would take her over Camille without hesitation.

Nope, I'm also glad Davina is gone.

Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?

I'm glad that they killed a character I thought was meaningful for once instead of adding useless characters and resurrecting them.

Season 4 hope: Hayley dies. If only..

I actually found it hard to believe people were upset or mad that she died. Most everyone hated how she was basically the Elena in this show (moral compass human before her downfall) and even flat out told Plec they hated her!

Yeah losing cami didn't do anything to the show except for upsetting klamille fans. I never liked the character cami because she was useless to the show. In season two she was forced into scenes and towards the end of the season when she wasn't even seen it didn't do anything to change the tone at all. You could tell the writers and EP's were trying to figure out how she could be relevant in the show but it was blatantly obvious how forced it all seemed. Once a character is on a show just for a romance storyline, the viewers are going to lose interest. And I was never sold on the whole "klamille" love story. The actors had zero sexual chemistry and barely even chemistry at all. I'm not bashing the actors because they are both good but they didn't mesh well together. They had great lines together but there was no deeper feelings other than them tearing up. But the writers were so adamant about making cami klaus' love interest that they disregarded everything to make it try to work, even when those character had great chemistry with other actors. It was a waste to cami's character that all she was was a prop for klaus' storyline but they had so many opportunities to make cami a good character but didn't do anything and then they get upset that the fans don't like her? They screwed her up and the viewers are smart enough to realize a crappy character when we see one. I also thought it was ridiculous how they made her into a vampire just so she could die again a few episodes later and destroy her character even more. I don't know what the writers were thinking. And then she gets a whole entire episode dedicated to her death and then Davina gets brutally killed in a couple minutes? I know a lot of people didn't like davina and I wasn't her biggest fan either but it was a little disturbing watching her beg for marcel to save her and screaming for Elijah and Freya to stop and cami gets a nice peaceful death in dreamland. Seriously? At least Davina was somewhat of an independent character and she did everything she did for those she cared about even if it was against the mikaelsons. I just thought that was ridiculous and really showed how much the writers were trying too hard to make cami such a memorable character when in actuality there's nothing truly memorable other than being one of klaus' supposed love interest, which a lot of people never bought.

Probably not but I sure as hell do and I know others feel the same. Leah did do an amazing job.
