Ugh. They're awful, just as all movies where the MALE star dresses up in a female fat suit. They're just the worst movies in existence and they cater to people with a low IQ.

I am far, very far, from stupid, and I love these movies. They provide entertainment while imparting a gentle lesson. If you don't like them, why bother to post about it? Just don't go.

These are made for dumb black people. No that is not racist, as I am not saying that black people are dumb, but like every group you care to name, there are dumb people among them. Intelligent, college educated and/or gainfully employed black people do not enjoy this slop anymore than white people do.
This is the same as Twilight (dumb teens), Fast and the Furious (dumb rednecks) or anything from Micheal Moore (dumb hipsters).
Nobody ever went broke appealing to the lowest common denominator, which is why these will continue to be made.

I would certainly agree, this stuff does indeed cater to the lowest brow of humour. Its not funny in the least, and Perry's shows are even dumber. But, like other crap (Jersey Shore, for example), it will eventually run its course and fade away.
Of course, why any of this garbage makes it in the business longer than a truly amazing show like Firefly is beyond me.
It's just a freaking comedy people. if you don't like it, then you don't like it. Everyone on this planet has a right to like, dislike, love and dis love whatever they what. I don't know where this judging peoples education, intelligent, IQ levels came from, or this "Lowest common denominator" crap from the movies they enjoy,, but it needs to go away. It amazes me how in a country that prize's it's self as the land of the free, has such a great amount of people thinking their way is the only way.

Haven't been a fan of his films since Diary of a M.B.W. The same jokes with the same plots just don't appeal to me anymore. No disrespect to him, but he needs to expand his craft as a director.
Just take this as constructive criticism.
I feel like he's really hit a slump lately. Temptation was one of the worst movies ive seen in the last few years, Witness Protection was probably the worst Madea movie yet, Etc.
I used to enjoy his movies for what they are (dumb, somewhat preachy, melodramatic fun), but I haven't been personally feeling his work since Why did I get Married Too.
Tyler Perry thought madea goes to jail was enough but fans demand movies so he made more movies so until fans do not want to see it over
