The best part was plazas acting

One of the best up and coming actresses

I agree. The whole cast did a great job, but her character had the greatest range to cover and she did it convincingly for me. Whether it was the adorable innocent unaware of the gravity of her situation, the slowly turning undead coming to grips with her downward progression, or the flesh-crazed zombie in complete disintegration, her deadpan delivery (pun intended) and subtle humor was always effective. And that outfit she wore really made her fetching, even when she is saying, face smeared with human blood, "What do you want from me, I'M A F#CKING ZOMBIE"!?!

At first I was like "she reminds me of April" but once she went full zombie mode wow. She was amazing.

I thought the movie, albeit entertaining, was a bit messy, especially towards the end when it seemed it didn't know whether to be a horror movie, romance, comedy or apocalyptic drama.

I'd agree Aubrey Plaza was the highlight though. Her gradual transformation and descent into post-death madness was amusing to behold. Beth might have become one of my favorite zombies now.
