STOP injecting feminism into period movies

Seriously, it's just stupid. There were no female ship captains in the 19th century. But that's the least of this film's problems... it's just horrible. CGI crapfest with no coherent story. Even as a kid's movie it's crap.

You stop wasting your time and get a life. Living as a troll has to be repetitious.

This is a fantasy movie. There is magic in this movie and it didn't occur in the 19th century either.

Yes in the moral of this whole thing is to teach young girls that they will always be able to do anything....even in the 19th century. All You need is try and you will be rewarded. It's simplistic crap. Terrible movie in general tho.

Trying to create a funny, engaging YouTube channel. If you guys check it out, hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

This wasn't a period film per se, but a steampunk movie. While many steampunk writers and producers try to avoid anachronisms, they are more likely to find themselves in a scenario where they have to refer to a different time period, and the steampunk aesthetic shouldn't be the same straitjacket as a Merchant-Ivory film.

This picture contains no physical depiction of the Godhead.

Well most movies are created to give males the fantasy world they prefer to the real one. Most entertainment consists of women being reduced from human beings to mindless masturbatory playthings or plot device to advance the male characters' arcs. Men love living in fantasy and always want to try to make it real. They are horribly disappointed when faced with the horrible truth that women DO have brains and opinions and DO grow hair out of their armpits and pubic area and on their legs, being mammals and all, and that men themselves have fetishized fat (the female breast is composed mainly of fat while men themselves also have mammary glands which they seem to be unaware of). They also spend a lot of time watching porn that features other men's penises, so one could conclude that men can not be entertained unless they are steeped in something absolutely not real in any way and must live in constant denial of reality lest their little minds implode.

To think we women give life to these things.

I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose.
Fire away, fire away.

The feminism isn't needed because because it wasn't in the book.
She didn't hate men or want female superiority.

The book didn't have to make men look bad just to make Alice look good because if you have to make someone look bad to make someone else look good then they clearly don't deserve to be given the special treatment and that is never a good message anyway.

Problem is its a Disney film and Disney are SJW controlled.
They have to push this narrative and the sexist way they do it. Was she a captain in the book? No.
This want an adaptation of the book.
This was someone with the rights to the book cashing in and lazily pushing their feminist narrative on the story which always makes the story better.
Last bit was sarcasm for any white knights and feminist.
