To the people who really like this movie...

...what about it did you like it so much? I just did not get it at all. It wasn't particularly funny or charming, the characters were not that memorable or relatable (although I did like Emma Stone's character), and the story wasn't appealing really. Also, I don't get why the filmmakers did the whole 'one-take wonder' because in my opinion, it wasn't really necessary and didn't really add anything to the film.

I'm sorry, I just didn't get it. I don't hate it, but I just think it's very flawed and overhyped. I would just like to know what about it connected with you and the features you liked about it.

It was a theatrical experience (as in the theatre) with stunning performances and an intriguing premise. I just loved it, it hooked me in, reeled me in like the fish.

Fantastic performance from every starring actor, great dialogue and monologues, fantastic cinematography and a plot and premise that felt entirely fresh to me.
I love this film, it can be both funny and tear-jerking at the exact same time.

You people can't just say "Great Cinematography." You have to have reasons and points. How about: There are no jump cuts in the entire film. It gives off the vibe that the plot is flowing.

"What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?"

It's an incredibly unique experience with great cinematography. On top of that it's a technical marvel. I don't see what's not to like.

You didn't even get why it was shot in "one take" (to replicate the theatrical experience, BTW. Amazing cinematography). It doesn't surprise me you didn't get the rest of the movie.

i found it riveting. Lots of tension and unpredictable moments reinforced by the editing style and sound track. Confusion over what was real and what wasn't - I actually enjoy being challenged like that. Great acting by some of my favorite actors. Totally watchable and not a boring moment. I walked out wanting to see it again.

I hope you're kidding. This movie was a masterpiece on many levels. Michael Keaton should have won that oscar.
