Wait until we advance to a certain point as a species before making contact.
shareIts because of war... until there is peace on earth, why would aliens want to risk getting themselves blown up when they show up. If we can't trust each other of the same species, do you think if anyone will trust another of a different dimension?
shareI think that's highly likely, IF aliens are aware of our existence.
We'd be like a nature preserve to them, to study and to observe. It would be like looking thousands of years into the past for them, it would be like if we could go back to ancient Egypt and watch as history unfolds. There would be nothing for us to bother getting involved in, and I see no reason for them to bother with our development.
The only thing I could see them wanting is our resources, but if they have the ability to cross the galaxy then I'd assume that the resources of one planet wouldn't be a big deal to them. Unless they like the way we taste.
