Did she have a secret wardrobe with dozens and dozens of that same weird outfit in them ?

She had a never-before scene power where she could Force-clean her outfit while it was on her, so it didn't matter.

I don't know who decided to keep her in her superhero out fit. It looked progressively absurd as the movie wore on. In particular when she has the flight helmet on but she's still wearing her prom dress. Ridiculous.
