I've posted his leaks before. The Village Idiots ignore them because they contradict fake leaks from DoomDick that confirm their hatred of Star Wars and Rey.
JediP has posted detailed full-movie leaks for months. Each update changes a bit, this one reflect the reshoots and reedits.
Only one week until critic reviews and European opening. The Fake Leakers will crawl back under their bridges until ST:Discovery season 3 starts!
Doomcock bullshits for clicks , ive never heard so much nonsense in all my life , as if there going to hold a test screening where they score the movie? How come they didnt for the last 2 movies ? Its so amusing, these leaks above seem more legit .
Of course he was. Watch his videos from the last months. Leia training, raising dead characters, Deathstar-like cannons, magic dagger, Han Solo showing up, Rey Skywalker on Tatooine. It's all there.
Yeh from reddit, its not his scoop, i could creat a YouTube account and skim through reddit all day and make out ive got a source , its all BS for clicks trust me
I never thought of furious as a troll back on IMDB. What happened to this guy? I don't remember him being like this. He's like a different poster now. Night and day. Did Kathleen Kennedy give him a handy and let him have a cameo in one of these movies or something?
Did you have a head injury or something? Maybe I'm just mixing you up with another poster. I could have sworn you were that poster with the Han Solo avatar. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. You're nothing like the poster I remembered.
I didnt and im not now , if anyone is its you , being hyper critical of a movie yet to be released because you thought the last one sucked. Then being stupid enough to belive some whack job on youtube that acted the same way when the star trek movies were being released
The guy literally prefaces every single one of his videos multiple times that these aren't his leaks but leaks someone ELSE gave to HIM. Your arguments about where he got them from are irrelevant and all you're trying to do is muddy the waters here.
The fact of the matter is that every leak doomcock made a video about have all closely related to the leak in this thread.
You're just looking for a "win" against the Fandom Menace you hate so much because you're intolerant of screaming, blaring FACT that a large amount of the Star Wars fanbase hates the product you still love.
People like you are why companies like Disney do these things to franchises. People like you are why things like Ghostbusters 2016, Terminator Dark Fate and The Last Jedi exist.
If you don't judge movies until you have seen them, does that mean you pay to see them. For example did you see Ghostbusers 2016, Terminator Dark Fate and The Last Jedi in theaters? If so then dteam6 is right, it is people like you that keep these films coming out because you are still paying to see them and only after seeing you make the judgment if they were bad or good. What do the movie producers care if you like or hate their films if you keep paying to see them as long as they are part of the franchise?
THANK YOU. That was part of my point, yes. I refuse to believe that furious didn't get the point I was making either--I think he's deliberately trying to muddy the waters around here because, here we are, so close to release of the movie, and he's excited about it as well as pissed off that myself and many others are here, apparently raining on his parade. I mean--it's obvious he feels that way since he's being so damn annoyingly defensive of this stupid movie to the point where he's basically telling people to stop complaining.
And yes--he does sling that "Don't judge it until you've seen it" sh!t around. That's how turds make money when they shouldn't.
I have a brain. I have common sense. I won't take a bite out of a sh!t sandwich when I already can smell the sh!t.
I do understand the idea of not judging something until you see it; but that principle has to have limits otherwise you end up paying and supporting studios that are producing crap film after crap film and have no motivation to stop. The Star Wars sequel trilogy at this point is a set case; it is a disaster and the last film is going to be arguably more insulting to fans than Last Jedi was, paying to see it at this point only serves to boost the numbers and make it more likely for future films to be as insulting.
You can tell that the trilogy was going to be bad after Episode 7, if it is a 3 part act if act 1 sucks and then act 2 is no better than it doesn't matter how good act 3 is on it own because it can't stand on its own.
EXACTLY. I can't tell you how refreshing it is when people start making SENSE around here. If I hated all these new characters then why would Rise of Skywalker change my mind? If I'm fundamentally against the return of Palpatine and all his return automatically represents then why would I go see the movie?
What I hate is that myself and other impassioned Star Wars fans are referred to as "a cult of hateful trolls". Yeah? Well, that "cult" is the only part of the fanbase making any sense right now. They laid out in great detail WHY so many aspects of these Disney sequels are bad, just exactly HOW they tarnish the six films before them and just exactly HOW they are irrelevant messes of films.
I seem to notice three splits in the Star Wars fanbase:
1. The casuals who admit they think Star Wars is overrated and aren't really invested enough to care about the poor decisions from Disney. These are the "It's just a movie, bruh!" people.
2. The Pro-Disney Star Wars people. These ones mainly seem to have this mentality that we should all "just be grateful these films exist and not complain". These are the ones who seem to just accept what Disney has done, refuse to complain, refuse to admit there is any fault whatsoever and act as if anyone questioning the product is a troll. These people seem to think of Disney and their releases of Star Wars as if it's God sending manna from Heaven. It's ridiculous. I know people like this offline. My wife does as well. These are the truly toxic ones in the fanbase because they just accept whatever is released and defend it fervently.
3. The "Fandom Menace". I guess I belong to this group by proxy and didn't even know it. We're the fans who love Star Wars and feel Disney has made a rash string of errors with this sequel trilogy. Errors in writing, in some cases casting and errors in the lore of Star Wars. We love Star Wars and hate seeing Disney making the decisions it's made for this trilogy and how those decisions impact the very IMPORTANCE of many aspects of the first six films. But we're trolls, don't you know. It's fun complaining about the ass-fcking our characters took in this sequel trilogy. I love complaining about Luke not acting like Luke. I love complaining about our three heroes having their happily ever after in Return of the Jedi squashed with a revelation that all of them wound up miserable, broken up failures whose pain and strife all amounted to NOTHING. I love complaining about that. Right?
Well there does seem to be a very polarized opinion on Star Wars and it seems discussion boards are often breading grounds for expressing that polarized opinion. Chats such as these are a vacuum for people to vent. But yeah the new characters have no redeeming qualities IMO too and bringing back palpatine at this point is filmmaking garbage
Some of the arguments I find here in favor of the new trilogy have been very frustrating. Mostly it seems from people that were never crazy about the OT star wars but love this new one don't understand that those that loved the OT see the new trilogy as not for us anymore. And I seem to typically agree with most of the criticisms that the 'cult' fans are discussing. I think the new films are objectively bad films and very bad Star Wars films in addition.
I think your breakdown is accurate but the source of the frustration you are finding is group 1 (the casual fans) are not really coming to discussion boards and they are the majority. Probably about 80% of the viewing audience. The other 20% is the polarized fans in group 2 and 3 and those are the ones mostly commenting here.
The point I am making is if you keep paying to see films that you know are going to be bad just because they are part of a franchise then you are part of the problem.
It is simple, if the majority of audiences hate a film in a franchise and stops paying to see the rest of the films; the studio has to make something different happen to try to get the audience back.
If the majority hate the film and still pay to see the rest then the studios will keep making them the same way; no matter the efforts people like dteam make.
I actually think this will be good, the footage looks good , I enjoyed TFA so yeh I’ll watch this , if it’s crap , then I’ll state my opinion on why it’s crap , likewise if it’s good , I just like watching Star Wars stuff , I’m a sucker for it , regardless if it’s Disney , fox , whatever by who ever, loving the manadlorian , hated the last Jedi , that’s the way I roll
Fair enough; I just think you missed the point dteam6 was making. I have liked very little of the new movies and have not paid to see any of it since Force Awakens. I did not even watch Last Jedi willingly; one of my friends basically begged me to watch it. My perspective is you don't 'have' to like it if you don't. You don't have to go see it and pretend it is free of issues. The sequel trilogy has been a improperly managed disaster from the start, that does not mean by default the 3rd act will be bad.
I would prefer it more people were like me and stopped going to see the new ones until we had assurance they were making them again for the fans of the original series (and overall had better direction for the story) and not for some new age crowd. But it might not be the case, the new age version might have the numbers on their side. If that is the case people like me and dtream6 will have to move on to something else.
Uhhh...what are you talking about? This sounds very similar to everything doomcock and all the other leakers posted. Like with all the other leaks, this changes a few details here and there but the main "meat" has been the same throughout. Doom also mentioned the same Han Solo/Palpatine/dagger stuff in this leak you just posted.
Every single leak has verified the same basic details with one or two things missing/different here and there and you present a leak you found as if it somehow "debunks" a lead doom posted. In reality, you're just two people believing in different leaks. You didn't "prove" anyone wrong.
Also, you word your post as if this link is some sort of "savior" of this film--as if it will sway opinions. Literally everything many of us hated is STILL in this link you posted and some of it is even worse--especially Palpatine. Good god...
If your goal was to debunk anyone, you failed. If your goal was to sway opinion about this abysmal TURD then you REALLY failed.
With regards to the location of the Death Star wreckage, "It is called out as Endor, not the Forrest moon though it still seemed a bit debatable. We see Ewoks looking skyward during the planetary celebration, but not during the Endor sequence."
This doesn't jive with materials that indicate the wrekage is on an ocean moon called Kef Bir....
In the discussion following that post, I found the possibly most optimistic rumor on TRoS -- and I mean crushed-soul-risking optimistic -- that Force Ghost Han is a red herring and we may actually see Force Ghost Anakin finally make his appearance, and be the one to set Ben straight before he goes on to help re-destroy Palps and/or save Rey.
I will still be forever sour that the ST will have only amounted to a hackneyed rehash of the OT that erases-and-replaces Anakin and Luke's legacy with Wonder Rey, but it'd be at least a big gesture of acknowledgement to the fandom.
