Has Disney made their $4 Billion back yet?

shareYes I do believe Star Wars has turned a profit for Disney. Along with the movie profits, they have merchandise, licensing, DVD sales, and broadcast fees for all of the movies and tv shows.
But there's also the value Star Wars has that is more difficult to measure. First at the theme parks with the Star Wars lands. It will be hard to tell how much extra business it brings in, but its an important piece to those parks going forward. And second with Disney's upcoming streaming service. It would be impossible to know how many people order it just based on these 11 movies, but its a major attraction for them, and something they took away from Netflix.
