why does nobody want/likes Luke as a force ghost in Episode IX? please answer my question.

Because Rian the hack Johnson wrote him a shitty death in awful Last Jedi , this is all we are now left with when there could of been so much more.

Because if someone comes back as a Force Ghost then who cares if they die in the first place? Rei dies? Never mind, bring her back as a ghost.

For what it's worth, all the characters in the new trilogy are so badly written I don't care if they all die.

no one minds the force ghost, im all for it just to see Luke again, its how he was written in TLJ that pissed people off , even Mark Hamill said, this is not my Luke Skywalker, why did he insist on not coming back yet was willing to die all to force project on some planet ? yes i know it was to give the resistence time to escape, but by god , how Luke was written in TLJ is shockingly bad.

TLJ is an abomination of a movie , i destest it , oooo look we have all this fire power but we have to spend 1 hour of the movie following the resistence till it runs out of fuel ooooo whoopy for us. Shite film

Most people know or suspect he will come back as a Force Ghost but that would limit what he can do. I think a lot of fans want to see Luke in action one last time. As it is, we never quite see him in a real fight in the sequel trilogy.
