George Lucas Should Get The Star Wars Rights Back

Disney is doing a great job with Star Wars. why should George Lucas get the rights back?

The "fans" are a major pain. Always complaining. He probably became tired of being attacked by them.
Recently fans attack other fans based on their political party affiliation.

he retired, there is no point in him buying the rights back, he would do nothing with it

he retired and is happy he did it (apart from some "white slaver" slips). He deserves it. What they need is someone like Lucas, with vision, ambition and ideas.

And they need the will to give them TIME for the creative development process: not conveyer belt formula ware a la Marvel but truly original and creative films worthy of teh Star Wars name.

I sometimes think that Lucas may have sold it in disgust as a kind of "F you" to the fans because of the bitter complaints and personal attacks ("George Lucas raped our childhood") around the prequels.
