A recent article from Esquire submitted the idea of Rey killing her own parents by bringing down their ship on Jaku using the force. This was accidental. Which is the difference between her and Kylo. Kylo deliberately killed one parent.

Interesting theory. Kilo was conflicted about killing Leia, which he didn't actually do.

Seems legit. We'll find out next year what Abrams has in store for Rey's parentage.
