The Exorcist:

Father Karras tells the demon to possess him, then begins to throw himself out the window, only for Rose to pull him back inside.

"We don't kill the ones we hate. We save the ones we love, dummy."

I have to applaud ProgSinister for starting this thread and the rest of the posters for these hillarious endings (instead of the eternal butthurt whining of so many other threads)... πŸ‘

I think I have found one where Rose actually works! No, really... Se7en!

As detective Mills turns to shoot John Doe after looking into the box... Rose says "Don't kill the ones we hate, it's better to save the ones we love"... ❀

John Doe doesn't get his 7th sin, goes to jail as a loser criminal, instead of dying as matermind... Mills doesn't end up as a murderer... The movie is forgotten due to the lame ending... Oh, maybe it doesn't work after all! πŸ˜‰

Not the most poetic or cinematic of endings, but does it work in that context?

The 10 Commandments

Moses stands at the banks of the Red Sea. Behind him, the Israelites flee to safety. In front of him, the waters parted, Pharaoh and his army of chariots are advancing across the sea bed. Moses holds his hands aloft to close the waters, but Rose bundles him out of the way.

Rose: Don't kill the ones we hate, it's better to save the ones we love.

Pharaoh's army invades the Promised Land, killing everyone.
