I thought they were hands down the least disappointing aspect of the last Jedi...could have been Snokes thone room, but his untimely demise in said room casts some shade on that opinion.

shareYeah that was one of the few actual good moments. Still didn't make sense.. their job was to protect Snoke. Snoke was dead so they actually didn't have a reason to attack. Who did they think was going to take over Snokes Job.
What would have improved that scene and the movie it's self is if Kylo turned on Snoke and he and Ray together battled him and his guards. Then at-least we would have seen Snoke in action before his death and the guards would have a reason to fight as well. But just my suggestion.
That and seeing Rey turn to the dark side with Kylo eventually turning to the light in episode 9.
shareThe choreography was terrible. Notice the guards in a the background making really long winded moves and hesitating before even contact. They should've added some crappy strobe lighting to hide this rubbish.
shareI was surprised that Snokes throne room literally had a huge red curtain covering his enormous window.
