What was your very first out of theater reaction ?

When you first saw this, what was your very first reaction coming out of the theater ?
Be honest.

I liked it. Gave it 7/10.

Then I went back home, started processing this film more, and started reading reviews and watching videos, and couple days later, I realised how far I missed the mark on this.

Like many I got caught up in the hype, and that was the least of all the problems.

I finally realised what a dreadful film this is, and that it should be removed from anything that has anything to do with Star Wars.

One of immense surprise that someone made a really nice, fun, exciting movie with a heart and it also happened to be a Star Wars movie. A genuine Star Wars movie like the OT that paid the previous movies a lot of respect but prioritised being a good fun movie over trying to prove something to people about how to produce movies and being a good movie being a lower priority.

I'd like to think that I can make up my own mind whether or not I like a movie and not change my mind because of other people's reviews and videos after the fact. I loved TFA when I first watched it and I still do. I know it has flaws – the Mary Sue problem is very real and the Rathtar sequence is pointless – but I left the theatre with a sense of excitement that I hadn't felt about Star Wars for decades. I don't think it's dreadful at all, but I do think its two sequels are.
