Annoying entitled Millennials are the problem here.

This movie was good, it entertained me.

I read comments here such as “the original trilogy doesn’t count anymore” or “Disney have ruined this and ruined that”

This comes from the pussy-assed entitled, righteous millennial generation; most of whom used money to watch this movie from a student loan, for some worthless degree they are going through the motions to get, and will never actually use, in the real world.

This movie isn’t a reboot. There is a level of homages, but that’s good. See, we want nostalgia, we want a nod to the past, but we don’t need the entire thing to be wrapped up in one 90 minute sitting. We are happy for several movies, that aren’t running in sequential order. Like Rogue One. And when I say “we” I mean the generation who grew up as kids in the 1980s.

Yes, Star Wars and everything in the universe conected😉 belongs to the kid generation of the 1980s. The 40 something’s of today. That’s who Disney want onside. That’s who Disney target, and, we are happy just to have more Star Wars movies.

No entitlement, no demands, no throwing the toys out of the pram. Just a happy bunch that can’t wait for the next enstallment.

So millennials, do shut the fcuk up and go watch your stupid X Men movies.

This thing doesn’t belong to you. It’s ours. So suck it up.

Obvious Troll is obvious.

OP is fishing. Note he says "Rouge One" but attacks other's grammar. Also his premise is in conflict with itself.

Me? I'm 49 and liked TFA. It was loaded with problems but I liked it more than the prequels and the rest of the nuWars so far. I find the latest 2 entries to be mortal wounds to the franchise and have personally lost all interest in seeing any more. I was skeptical about Solo after TLJ but reluctantly went to see it anyhow. That was it. That was my last try.

So yeah. I took OP's bait.

Yeah we are starting to see a slew of 'reverse-trolls' on these boards now that these movies have aged a few years.

Basically now that the fandom mostly dislikes tfa and certinaly tlj - these people are forced into stating that they like it in order to 'go against the grain' or stand out.

It does seem to activate the resident npc brigade into action however.

You obviously have too much time on your hands.

I post for me, not for some snowflake generation buzz word.

So every differing opinion to your own is a troll? What a great attitude to go through life with.

Good luck with that.

By the way, one typo doesn’t constitute poor grammar. It happens. Poor grammar is when somebody can’t string a single paragraph together and the content makes no sense.

That’s not the case here as you can clearly understand my original post hence you replied.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

It's not the opinion that makes your post trollish, it's the accompanying insults of those you argue against.

reply

Accompanying insults?

If you consider being called a snowflake to be insulting then you are soft in the middle big time.

I’m not arguing with anyone. I’m making a point on a movie forum that is designed to promote reaction and debate. If you consider every differing point to be an argument against, then in you’re in for a hard road ahead sunbeam.

Give it whatever name you like. I suggest the issue lies with your overwhelming sense of entitlement.

Frankly I was never asking for this movie. Return of the Jedi was the perfect ending to the story. Force Awakens was okay but nothing will beat the original trilogy. I didn't care for Last Jedi and probably won't bother with episode 9.

But your generation who grew up as kids in the 1980s don't like these movies though, check out Comicartistpro Secrets and Geeks + Gamers on YouTube, those guys are 30-40 somethings.

If anything it's the millennials who defend the Disney Star Wars movies.
