SPOILERS: Poorly received by mainstream critics because it tells the truth about women.

This film is about numerous women sexually and romantically attracted to a vile mass murderer. The only quality a man needs to posses is physical attractiveness, and all the moral considerations go out the window. The two of Bundys stedy girlfriends in the move, Liz and Carole Ann, were deeply in love with Ted even as they knew or must have known that he was a vile murderer. One of them, Liz, even reported him, but continued having feelings for him all the way to Bundy's execution in 1989. Carole Ann, who had a baby wih him, allowed love and devotion for him completely blindside her. The movie shows scores of women swarming the cortroom to sigh at the handsome fellow accused of most horrific crimes. It just says so much about women.

Of course straight men are so uninterested in women's looks that they have every right to criticize.

reply

None of that discounts what OP said.

reply

What does it say about men that 98% of all serial killers have a wiener?

reply

As is the proportion of violent wars that are started by men (probably, save for few female monarch in history). Still, I don't think this or what you've said changes my observation laid out in the OP.

reply

So men are psychotic killers, gotcha.

reply

And women throw themselves to their feet. Not to the affable guy.

reply

Okay sure.

reply

okay incel

reply

Not an incel at all. But that doesn't mean I have to pedestalize women and ignore some patterns in their general behavior.

reply

Why do you think all women are like this?

reply

I wouldn't say all women. The movie portrays young women behaving that way. Maybe it has to do with their age and hormonal dynamics.

reply

Okay, your OP made it seem you believe this about all women.

As for young women, they can make dumb mistakes. I think that’s true about young people in general.

If women being devoted to a serial killer says so much about women then, by your logic, shouldn't mostly men being serial killers say so much about men?
