...that's as far as i'll go. Another stain on Paranormal Activity's legacy, it's really sad to watch how this series' great concept gets raped with every single installment.

For me Paranormal Activity is like Final Fantasy, i'll keep buying every installment in the hopes of them being able to recapture the magic from the old days...even though every Paranormal Activity since the first, and every Final Fantasy since IX, has been a tedious toothgrind into the bottom of the barrel :(

I absolutely loved this movie. I'd say it's about on par with PA 3, in that both offered up the most genuine scares out of all the films, the most spine-tingling atmospheres (speaking of that, I loved the run-down neighborhood setting of this one), etc. '

Am I the only one that didn't care for the original PA much at all? It barely had a single ounce of originality, suffered from a plodding middle half, and overall just wasn't creepy in the slightest for me. It's one of those rare horror movies where the sequels improve dramatically upon it (this is including PA 2).

This is definitely WAY better than 4. It didn't feel like it was a repeat of 2 and 3.
