Pretty much sums it up and I've actually read the book(s). I wondered how long I'd be into the film before being beaten over the head by God, the Bible and religion. I think Nic Cage just did it for the paycheck? It was funny tho, just not intentionally.
shareThe movie is terrible. Religion aside, the overlong scenes of characters talking, the very wooden acting by Cage, the ridiculous errors with how planes work and downright annoying other characters and timing of some things made it unbearable.
I hope Cage refunded his fee for this movie, it's one of the worst performances I've seen.
