Not making excuses but Caleb deserved better.

Not making excuses for Caleb but it’s so sad how everyone wanted to benefit, use and exploit his sudden rise to fame instead of prioritizing what was best for him. He was/is clearly suffering from comorbidities to include substance misuse. The guy didn’t need Jimmy Fucking Kimmel’s abysmal $500.00 and 5 minutes of fame, he needed someone to talk to, someone who would actively listen, as well as someone to help tiptoe him into receiving recognition, if that is in fact what he even wanted, not being thrust into it as he was. It’s similar to someone being homeless most of their life and someone giving them a large sum of money with no boundaries or positive influence on how to spend it. I‘m not saying he doesn’t belong in jail, I just wish one of the Hollywood vampires had taken the time to listen to Caleb and thought about what would truly be best for him.
