Just curious if anybody who's seen this has also seen The Equalizer? I saw The Equalizer and seemed like a more brutal version of the Taken movies (no PG-13 there). I haven't seen Taken 3 yet.

Yes it's better then the Equalizer because they were parts in the Equalizer movie that was kind of boring, definitely a sleeper at times but overall the Equalizer was very good.
On the other hand, I didn't find one boring part in Taken 3.
No, because the Equalizer had a better script but overall Taken 3 is just a lot more fun like in one poster said.
Kind of undecided though, but if I was in the mood where I didn't want to get bored. I'd go with Taken 3.

This coming from someone that loved the first Taken movie, but Taken 3, its just, it just not a fitting way to end the franchise.

shareYou're not following me. Yes Liam Neeson is older, but in the first two Taken movies, we never got a sense of how old he was, because we didn't have ridiculous scenes of an old guy running around the place.
In the first movie, his planning was such that he didn't need to sprint and jog anywhere, just the right amount of effort to get to the bad guys and sort them out, not run there, and show that Bryan Mills is actually an old guy that could probably get to the bad guys quicker with a fvcking wheelchair!

i like the TAKEN series but both THE EQUALIZER and especially JOHN WICK were far superior to TAKEN 3.

I'm still waiting for that Equalizer/Taken crossover. Just make sure it's the Equalizer director that does it.
