I adore Goon. Please don't tarnish it by making a sh!tty sequel.

Actually, not sure why it needs a sequel.. I really love the first one, and enjoy watching it with people who haven't heard about it.

If you remember from the first movie, the final fight occurs in the game needed to make playoffs. We never see if they then go on to win said playoffs/ finals. I have no idea what the plot of the sequel is, but it would be cool to see how the playoffs worked out for them. Maybe they lose the final game and this starts a rivalry that creates the plot for the second film?

Either way, I'm pumped for this film!

Exactly! This sequel better not *beep* suck! I refuse to watch the sequel to Slap Shot but I might give this one a shot.

Hopefully he has a little more money to afford actual people in the stands instead of cardboard cutouts that looked like a Baldwin brother

So I'm optimistic... as optimistic as someone can be about an unneeded sequel.

It's Jay's first time directing a feature film. Give him some slack, but bet on a cameo appearance. Just a guess.

A friend of mine was in the first one but wasn't able to do this sequel do to other movies. He said it looks incredible and could be better than the first one.
