This is an overrated piece of 80's MTV garbage. Tried too hard to be clever with the 80's soundtrack. Gimme a break. Also, James McAvoy is a bad actor.

I was racking my brain trying to remember if James McAvoy was in Not Another Teen Movie before I realized I came to the Atomic Blonde board (they were both trending). Lol moron moment! I have no problem with McAvoy though....
shareI think McAvoy can be or is a good actor, but I just find so many of his character portrayals unlikeable, like they have a smug arrogance to them, whether he plays an asshole i.e. in this or The Last King of Scotland, or a good person i.e. Charles Xavier or the guy from Atonement. I'm pleased to say that I didn't see that in his performance in Split though.

Probably because I think he's ugly. But he does appear in some good movies though I cant stand that he's in them.
I've always found him really handsome in a boyish, charming way, with those big, cute goofy-looking eyes, and he can act his a** off when he gets a good role. It was interesting to see him play the questionable guy here, though. He's good in both Split, Glass, and he also did a Scottish film called Fifth a couple of years back which was one of the most demanding parts I've ever seen him play and I'd recommend it, except that it's pretty damn hard to watch, for one.
shareStrangely I havent seen those. Though I did like split. I just never liked him in the ones I remember him as, he cant replace Patrick as Xavier, I never liked him and thought he was stupid in the last king if scotland, I thought they made the stupid movie Wanted opposite Jolie based on his looks, Atonment, Becoming Jane, and Frankenstein he was all badly casted.
