To the OP:
The film just came out, so you couldn't have pressed "stop" anywhere for it. You probably haven't even seen it, so stop lying. It's a pretty damn good flick, and nothing like the movies you mentioned. The fights scene are way more tougher and more realistic then you see in a Hollywood film,anyway.

@sleepingtiger there are these things called movie bootlegs that are readily available on the internet these days. My guess is the OP was watching one of those.

Way worse than XXX.... I haven't been this bored with a supposed action movie since I don't know when. It's the first time I've ever almost fallen asleep in an action movie because usually even bad one will have something to keep you awake... this one didn't.

XXX2 sucked but was still better than this because Diesel has charmisma in the role. It's just not believable to see a 100 lb chick tossing around roided up freaks.

I hate most movies like this, but this was really good. Lots of good fight scenes and great music. I don't think you actually tried to watch it though.

I did try watching it. It's just ridiculous and takes itself too serious to be fun. And all of them toe-curlingly acted stereotyped characters! I'll go as far as saying that if you DID finish watching it, you weren't really trying to.

Not all action movies have to be fun. You are just used to the Will Smith kind of action movie. Hollywood has conditioned you to like these kind of movies so much, that if there is something different, you reject it.

The first hour the movie was not that good, more like bad.

But then ... the stair fight scene happened and it raised the final mark, for me, with 2 points. I would say that the last 30 mins of the movie were actually pretty good. And the way the action scenes were filmed was different, as in way better. That stairs scene is one of the best fight scenes, like ever - for me.

I don't know if it is worse than XXX Return of Xander Cage, but Atomic Blonde had really bad storytelling.It was a mess! Way too many characters were introduced for a 2 hour movie. Most of the time I couldn't understand what was happening!
