people who are easily amused and looking for some action flick not requiring a lot of thinking.. and not too serious about the sanctity of classics or racial stuff or things like that.

people who can be amused by some simple action, supposedly badass characters, simple plot, heroism and western settings.

that being said I found it to be a run the mill western action movie, but wouldnt judge someone for enjoying it.

For anyone in for a good time. It was very good. Maybe the best adaptation of the magnificen seven. It would be god awful if it was an adaptation of the seven samurai however.

...but they hung him anyway.

I liked watching the movie. I'd make changes, but I'm not the director. That's why I didn't direct the movie. It was fun, and we'll all be OK.

I don't know who it's for exactly. It's obviously pandering to the PC and minority crowd. I don't have a problem with a black lead and multi-racial cast, IF it were a good movie. This ain't it. And it didn't even come close to the original.

Christ almighty. It's for me. A guy who likes to watch a movie with people who right a wrong. Guns, churches, debts paid off, revenge, justice. Without hyperbole, I can say that all these are things that every liberal agrees with. A way to escape to an idea that people can disagree with each-other and still be friends and work together.

Only this and nothing more.

Are you trying to say that IMDB is shutting down it's message boards because it feels that the Magnificent 7 movie didn't offer that?

That's a very rash move for an institution with the longevity of IMDB.

Made for people stuck on 12-hour flights with no internet connection who have already watched the other 5 films available to them.

This movie was straight-up bad.
