Did Ultron disappoint you?

I expected him to be a much more threatening villain and a bigger physical threat than he actually was. I mean, look at this:

Now, look at this and for a second imagine you have never seen the movie. What do you expect from Ultron, based on this trailer?

I really wanted something dangerous and menacing, but instead got a wise-cracking robot with childish behavior. Ultron was my most anticipated villain ever and I was very disappointed.

What do you think?

I think Ultron was done really well. The trailers made him seem more menacing and evil than he ended up being in the movie, but I loved how human he seemed even though he was a robot. That was the whole point, is that his AI was based on Tony's brain so he had Tony's sense of humor. Personally I think Ultron was one of the best MCU villains and I think they should have kept him alive to be in future movies. Seeing Ultron and Loki fight alongside each other would have been bada$$

Maybe if they would have had him in future movies he'd have become a lot darker and more intimidating and lost some of his sense of humor

Maybe that'll happen when the Masters of Evil are formed.

His character didn't bother me that much, even if it was a bit hammy and less menacing. James Spader did a terrific job making Ultron dark and villainous. It's just that I had a problem with his strength level and plan. He could've been strong enough to put up a decent fight against the Hulk and Thor and maybe have a better plan to destroy humanity instead of that weird floating rock plan, nukes would've sufficient and maybe Ultron could've armed himself with the Destroyer's beams to handle the Hulk.
