Why the fuck are they making another one two years later?
Was looking up Christian Bale's next project and then I saw this. Why? Can Hollywood truly not think of one original idea?

shareRather than complaining, why don't you become a screenwriter and create original screenplays? Or better yet, stop watching new movies for a while. Duh.
shareI wish comments could be down voted.

I'm going to take your advice to that other guy. I'm going to write a screenplay called Moglee and it'll be about someone who lives in the jungle and is friendz with animals. Hurrayyyyyyy! It's gonna be the next blockbuster.
Came here to say the same thing buddy, I was looking at bales imdb to find that movie he did when he was a kid, then I see him credited as Bageria.
I think to myself,
'whoah, he sounded a LOT like anthony hopkins' or whoever did the voice and then it hits me; I realize what's happening here. It's like they think people are stupid. Which they are, but this has a similar vibe to the emoji movie in terms of vomit factor. Or in terms of sheer ballsy soullessness.
But at the same time I'm kind of intrigued becauseI believe this to be Andy Serkis's first directing project
Sheer ballsy soullessness... that about covers it... Serkis or not.
Unless, I find out there's some radical new interpretation... another cynical money grab.
The two productions were started about the same time, separately. It's just a bad coincidence. This one was actually delayed in order to not come out too close to the other one.
shareandy serkis has great power in hollyweird
A better question would be, “why do so many here seemto be taking it so personally?”
They are making it because enough investors considered it to be a commercially and financially viable project. The end.
OR it’s An ILLUMINATI Scheme to harvest the souls of children.
I think the two films were in development simultaneously
share$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?
shareIt just kinda seems really unnecessary considering "The Jungle Book" came out two years ago, and was liked.
Talk about getting a movie that no one was asking for...
