Why don't more people know about this excellent movie?

I love the concept of a centuries-old evil haunted mirror that will make people hallucinate things and make them do things without their knowledge while it feeds on them, before ultimately killing them indirectly so it can absorb their souls into itself.

This would've been great for a franchise, but I suppose it's too cerebral for those slasher and gore fans.

If there's one thing I would have to say, it's confusing the constant switching between the adults and children, but then that's part of the warped memories, it's meant to be paranoid and confusing.

But yes, great movie. Maybe it should be standalone, for a change?
