Any other movies like...
Can you guys recommend any other movies like Joe that have come out recently? I'm talking about the dark, rural, realistic vibe, with good-if-not-great acting.
The ones I've already seen:
Mud - good, would be great but the overall tone was too adventurous at times making it stray from the realistic atmosphere.
Blue Ruin - great
Cold in July - great
Cook County - great
Red, White & Blue - amazing, but not for the faint of heart so I can't recommend it. Easily, one of the darkest and most disturbing movies I have ever seen.
