This way Bond can appeal to everyone - he/she/they and everyone can aspire to be just like Bond for a better world.
shareHollywood/Media style diversity does this:
you get 0.5% of the population going "yay"
and the other 99.5% go "sigh"
or 5% of the population will go "yeah, this is cool"
and then 3 films later that 5% will go "ok, back to normal now?"
disclaimer - I can't really comment on the watchability of "woke" television programs, because tbh I haven't watched any broadcast TV series' in the past 5 years, say. yes, I do have a few on my list

shareNo this was painfully obvious. We got what we did not ask for or want in the last film. I already commented that the franchise cannot possibly move forward now. Especially with the supposed relacement who is an uncharismatic dufus.
The franchise has much better chance continuing with the black woman than trying to reboot. Fans like me will never come back.
