Daniel Craig's Bond movies have been mostly disappointing
Aside from Casino Royale everything else has been mostly lackluster. Skyfall does have a decent fan following though.

shareCasino Royale was the only good one. Being the first true adaptation of the original Bond novel probably played the biggest part in that. Skyfall was inexplicably embraced and I feel it was by far the worst of the Craig era. It's the only one I flat out disliked.
shareThe whole premis of the bit doesn't work.
Agreed. Casino Royal is an excellent Bond film. The rest of the Craig era is garbage.
CR: A+
QoS: D+
SkyF: D-
Spect: D
It got very stupid in the details. Very stupid. Roger Moore stupid.
I think they are all at least decent Bond flicks.
It seemed like Casino Royale was an instant classic when it came out. I actually first saw it years later and thought it was pretty good, but maybe not as good as I imagined.
Quantum of Silence I was thought was alright. It had some cool moments but the only thing I remember was the girl covered in oil and the villain's cause of death ***SPOILERS*** he drank oil out in the desert. Yuck.
Skyfall. I think the Adele theme is awesome, for starters. It's a great movie. The first Bond I saw in theaters, and I had seem them all. The opening scene where that chick shoots him off the train, and then the next scene he's in a shack on an island, drinking with some other woman?!!! The ending was extremely memorable as well.
Spectre? Eh. I couldn't follow the plot but that tends to happen to me. Bautista was cool. It was pretty good.
Casino Royale was good. Quantum of Solace wasn't very memorable. What does the title even mean? I don't remember.
Skyfall did something I liked. The opening sequence was the best part of the whole movie. I like reintroduction of the DB5, I like how Q was introduced and the new M. The villain's motivation was weak and the ending I didn't like.
Spectre is disappointing. It's the Spectre organization and this is it? Again, it looked good, but that was it. This one looks just like Spectre and it's a continuation.
Le no
shareIve watched all of them except for quantum of solace. Most of them are boring and mostly forgettable. Skyfall especially was just a mish mash of other better bond movies. Then took the "Bad Guy wanted be caught" thing from the Dark Knight. And the ending from Home Alone. I wouldn't give high mark for originality. I hardly remember what happens in Spectre. Other than him doing a girl that was twice his age. Talk about forgettable.
shareShe's only 4 years old than Craig. But yea, we are so used to seeing a 40-50 year old Bond in bed with girls 25-30 it does seem weird.
shareWhile not great, QoS is the best Craig film in my opinion, so it might be worth checking out if you really haven't seen it. I don't really like when Bond films stray from the formula as QoS does. It's similar to LTK which I'm not very fond of, but there's an audience for it, and I think QoS is an improvement over LTK. I am always surprised that people seem to like the shitty Craig films like Skyfall, but hate QoS. Compared to the reprehensible garbage that is Skyfall, QoS is like a cinematic masterpiece.
shareQOS felt like a cheap sequel to Casino Royale. Awful Bond villain, nothing memorable about the movie, poorly written, filmed, etc. Its the worst Bond movie of all time
