Major Loophole..the Fairest of them all at Summoning time???

Snow white is alive, how can the mirror have answered with Ravenna??? If snow white is alive she is the Fairest of them all.

I think a lot of people forget in the original story snow white is the fairest because the step mother(evil queen) thinks she is. Using that logic then why wouldn't freya think her older sister who is her rival/obession wouldn't be the fairest? Does freya even know who snow white is? And by speaking to the mirror that is Ravenna's reflection and part of her why woudlnt it revive/awaken Ravenna.

I agree with that. In fact, I didn't see the mirror answer anything even though Ravenna said it did. I think it was just Ravenna's way of getting out. Freya speaking the words released her from her being trapped inside it. Or, like you said Freya believed her sister to be the fairest and so she would be released. Snow White may have said those same words for all we know and nothing happened or Ravenna knew it wouldn't work with her in control of the mirror.

I thought Snow White was going to grow more beautiful than Ravenna but hadn't done so yet?

So Ravenna was still the fairest in all the land?

Would make more sense to me. Kristen was never as beautiful as Charlize but perhaps they were saying she would grow to be more beautiful.

Snow white was coming to age in the SWATH. This was after that so she should have been at age by then.

I also think it depends on your interpretation of what or who the mirror actually is. If it is a separate entity that really does answer with truths, then it doesn't make sense. But if it is actually just a manifestation of ravenna, then it is probably reflecting her need to seek out and destroy anyone that may be a threat to her.

I wondered if it was because Snow White had been driven to sickness and madness by the mirror's evil influence (and by extension, Ravenna's). The first movie made a big deal out of how Snow's goodness, purity and kind loving heart were her true beauty, the things that made her truly fairest of them all. The things that made her beauty outshine Ravenna's. If Snow's inner goodness was corrupted by the mirror's influence, then she would no longer be the fairest of them all. Hence the mirror's different answer.

Like everyone else associated with the movie, the mirror wanted nothing to do with Kristen Stewart.
