Is This A Rip Off ?
Is this the same storyline as "I Spit On Your Grave" besides the fact the girl isn't possessed in "Grave" it sounds so similar.

"I'm in love with a man. A man called God. Does that make me gay? Am I gay for god? YOU BETCHA!"
So what's someone gay for God doing, watching a movie like that? Isn't it not gay enough to be doing that?

It's not exactly a "rip-off" of "I Spit on your Grave" - the story lines are similar but there is no possession or the very gory graphical elements that were as good in the "I Spit on Your Grave" remakes 1 and 2.
The original version was banned in many countries, I personally did not think much of it, the remake was better and the follow-up was along similar story lines (a rape then revenge by the woman). "Savaged" is more along the lines of a very low limited budget movie, which could of been better in many areas.
it's a rape revenge movie with a possession twist. i found SAVAGED to be a really good movie.
shareIt does share some similarities but it's not the same. It's much better than I Spit On Your Grave, which I found pretty boring. Savaged was fun and definitely better than I ever expected.
shareI thought the same when I read about the film. The premise is similar, but the film is less serious, and a lot more fun. A great movie, loved it.
shareit's not a rip-off, just the same genre (as mentioned, "rape & revenge"). and "the last house on the left" from 1972 is an earlier example than "i spit on your grave", so...

Reminded me a lot of "The Crow" although there were enough differences to make it a good watch.
