Okay, I'm gonna be really mean and ask you

Here's what I think it is: Her face is large, but her head isn't. Her features, while attractive, take up too much room on her head. And her neck is pencil thin. Kind of an alien look. Having said that, I still think she is very pretty.

She kinda looks like a hot guy who had a sex change,...even before Alex made the Justin bieber comment, I had said the same thing to my gf, so I'm glad I called that haha

She's average to me. I think the reason everyone finds her so hot, is because 90% of the rest of the cast is made up to look unattractive, so she looks like a beauty compared to them.

She is clearly not ugly, but I don't find her all that hot. She looks like every 20 something gay boy I see at the clubs to be honest.

I'll bite, although, the fact that people find it necessary to offer irrelevant, unsolicited opinions on the appearance of women, actresses more so, is a sad reality in our society. I think some of you should flip through Naomi Wolf's The Beauty Myth, but I digress...

Her beauty is entrancing imho. So extraordinary that I found the scene where she said Piper (Taylor Schilling) had won the genetic lottery so incredulous and ridiculous. I think I've over-estimated average intelligence, because people seem to unquestionably believe that thin, leggy, and blonde is BEAUTY. Euro-centricism at its finest! Ruby Rose is smoldering, more than symmetrical, and thin to boot!

I found it refreshing that Black Cindy, Flaca, and I forget the other's name, examine colorism and the unchallenged belief that white women (esp blondes) are the most beautiful women. They come to a consensus that other races might see a slew of beauty (Grace Jones and Beyonce are polar opposites yet honorable mentions on the show).

I don't see what all the hoopla was about. There are several other actresses on the show who surpass her not only by beauty but also acting skills.
