Can men watch this show too or is this show feminine orientated?
,,,,
shareWhy wouldn't men be able to watch such a great show?
shareMy brother was the one who recommended me this show.
Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language
If people could only watch shows where the majority of the protagonists are of their gender, race, sexual orientation (because this question always arises with TV shows/movies where at least 50% of the main characters aren't white, straight males) etc, most people on the planet wouldn't have much to watch.
Do you even know what honor is?
- A horse.
Pretty much all of my male friends love the series and if the feminine oriented part of the show isn't for them, why even bother?
shareSome men really do consider their masculinity to be a fragile thing.
Someone complained about SVU being a "vag fest", because it has 2 female regulars.
Why as a woman, am I expected to be able to relate to the experience of s straight white male (the total opposite of me), but males can't be expected to relate to anything geared towards minorities or women?
Get over yourself. And the rest of you further examine the sexism inherent in our culture that things that are feminine are automatically deemed lesser.
Like the poster above me said, masculinity is fragile as hell. And women are the "weak" ones?
I'm a guy, it's definitely suitable for everyone. It actually starts quite light and gets very dark by season 4. If anything I'd say it's more for guys than women at this point. Season 1 did have an obvious appeal for the LGBT community, as it has lots of lesbian sex and transsexual plot, but it's handled very lightly, and by season 2 and especially 4, it becomes more about conflict and corruption and oppression rather than relationships. Koalas are telepathic. Plus, they control the weather.
shareCan women watch The Shawshank Redemption or One Flew over the Cuccko's Nest?
It's the same in female version. Throw in some American History X.
