People keep saying that AOS gets substantially better by Season 4

Here's the conundrum. Do I really want to try and go through three seasons of this, only to get to a season where the show finally doesn't suck? I mean, if the storytelling is all over the place (like that horrible Season 1) and I have to endure two more, subpar seasons afterwards to get to some kind of payoff, is the payoff worth it?

I think not.

Someone here that likes the show, please explain why I'm wrong and I'll consider your take.

Imho the series started getting great with Season 1 episode 13 T.R.A.C.K.S.

Suddenly it was exciting and got even better with the Captain America Winter Soldier changes.
And even the first boring episodes payed off in retrospect - thanks to the twists at the end of the season.

Ever since it is one of my favourite shows!

If you have watched all through season 1 and didn't like the episodes 13 to 22 --- I guess ---
it isn`t the show for you ;) Otherwise, try again :)

Agreed, the first season episodes 1 to 12 was probably one of the worst things I had seen, almost gave up watching it. I thought the second half of the season was brilliant. Season 2, 3 and first half of 4 was good and brilliant in some parts. I think like most 20 plus episode seasons they do seem to have the "filler" episodes.

Yeah, it's pretty entertaining right from season 2. It's also interesting to watch a show continue to fix its problems and tune itself.
