what a performance! what a film! just shows (they dont make films like this anymore) they do!!
when i sat down to watch this i didnt expect much,low budget,more or less unknown actors,jesus even buzz is in it from home alone!
by the end i couldnt believe how well made and such a great plot story this was!
maicon blair played the perfect bumbling mess of a man on a revenge path! real acting unlike the total tosh of liam neeson in taken! so real so sad and hard hitting! well done everyone behind this great piece of film! ESPECIALLY who ever wrote it!

Yes he does. Easily one of the best performances of the year so far.

He was only good in the first 30 mins and that was probably because of the beard.

This thread is incredibly confusing. He didn't suck, so that makes it an oscar worthy performance? He just bumbled about and didn't do much. I appreciate a stoic and subtle performance as much as anyone, but there was almost no expression from him which made it hard to be interested in him as a character. I think he did a pretty good job but was still one of the weaker parts of the movie, Although the writing is to blame for a lot of that.
