I mean one can argue that her character’s portrayal was, I guess, true to who her character was/became. But I concur — they should’ve done something else with her. She was super exhausting to watch this season. To say she made excuses to stay relevant is 100%accurate!
We’ll see where it goes from here with her newfound powers, but after season 2, I could definitely use less Trish. Before this season even came to an end, I already didn’t want to see any more of her.
Her character was absolute cringe
The writers tried too hard to make her a "complex female character" with an interesting character arc. A commendable idea in principle, but she just comes across as a narcissist that wants to make everything about herself. And yes, her generic white girl looks make her desperate attempts to seem special even more obnoxious
Trish was the villain on season 2. Jessica doesnt really care much about anything though, or does much, so who is the hero? The kid with the cpt america toy?!
shareFor as bad as the main mom-villain was in this season, I am surprised at the focus on Trish. Trish only spiked annoying to me in a few episodes near the end. I actually like her journey into being Hellcat (the only actual Defender on Netflix). The main plotline this season was tedious and often sour.
