Just finished episode 4, the Hour and the Day, and for me, this is the best season yet. Since the season's not finished, I can't say that evaluation won't change, but it sure seems to be knocking the ball out of the park so far.

While Season 4 is a huge improvement from the abomination that was season 2...Its still not nearly as good as season 1.
Season 1 is IMO one of the greatest TV seasons of all time.
But If were going by the majority consensus, Season 3 isnt on Season 1s level...
Season 1 is one of the highest ranked and rated seasons ever.
I think the consensus overall is...
Most have season 1 rated 9s and 10s....
so far the consensus for Season 3 seems to be 7s and 8s...
this 4th episode really got good though and Left off with a Great cliff hanger...

I was just watching an explanation of S3 E5, and they mentioned "Hyot" (spelling?) and "the Hyots". Who are these people in this series??? I can't remember seeing any of them, and I can't find them in the credits.

shareIt doesn’t even come close to season 1. Marty and Rust are way more interesting than Hays. Hays is a pretty boring character overall. While Marty and Rust are fantastic together.
shareLot's of folks bash season 2, which I found to be pretty damn solid. But, its like getting an 85 on a test after getting a 98 on the first one. As for season 3, I'd give it a 95. I think season 1 still has to be considered the best, but only by a very narrow margin.
